Cat on the Roof Web design specialises in developing sites for small companies and non profit organisations where on going costs are not an option. Our sites are good looking, but require little or no technical experience to keep up to date. Unlike many web companies, by using the best “open source” software around we have negligible costs so you only have to pay us for the development time. Check out our prices below to see how this makes a difference.
We believe a good website should be maintained by its owner, so our all our sites come with one year’s support and full training.
Take a look at our portfolio section and you’ll see that we have created sites for schools, businesses and local non-profit groups. Our prices are well within their budgets, so we will probably be in yours. See the section “Our packages” below for more information on costs.
If you want to go it alone, we also do training in Google Sites and WordPress as well as other IT related skills. See our Training section for more details.

Our packages
If you fancy creating a website, but don’t have the skills to start from scratch we can set up some server space, a domain and a content management system. From that point you can add your content without worrying about all the complicated stuff.
£75
Just as in the “Get started” package we set up server space, a domain, and a content management system ready for you to add to. However, in the Basic package we will create graphical elements and special fonts to give your site a more individual feel. We’ll help choose colour schemes and add in those essential elements like contact forms, etc. And we’ll create the first four pages of your site too.

The Midi package includes everything in the cheaper packages, but we’ll create six pages and give full training on updating your site.
£275
This is our all-in package, that includes: server space, a domain, as many pages as you need (within reason of course!), original graphics and photography and all sorts of plug-ins as required such as slideshows, maps, video, etc. One year tech support and training is included in the price. We’re sure you won’t find a better offer.
